Saint gorfoleddant yn gytun

(Gorfoledd y saint ddydd y farn)
Saint, gorfoleddant yn gytun,
Pan welant arwydd Mab y Dyn,
Fel bore wawr o'r dwyrain draw
Sy'n dangos fod yr haul gerllaw.

Dysgleirdeb hardd ei wyneb pryd
Lewyrcha ar y saint i gyd;
Dysgleiriant fel yr haul bob un,
Yn gymhwys megys Ef ei hun.

Ni wela etifeddiau hedd
Ddim llid na digter yn ei wedd:
  Esgynant oll yn lluedd llon,
I wledda'n sirioi ger ei fron.

Pa bryd y gwelai'r ddedwydd awr,
Boreuddydd tragwyddoldeb mawr,
I ddihuno a chodi o'r bedd yn fyw,
  A'm llawn ddigoni
      â delw Duw.
William Williams 1717-91

Tôn [MH 8888]: Coombs's (<1835)

gwelir:
Mae Brenin nef ar fyr yn dod
  O tyr'd ar frys f'Anwylyd pur
Rhedwn ar frys mawr ydyw'r fraint

(Jubilation of the saints on the day of judgement)
Saints, they will be jubilant together,
When they see the sign of the Son of Man,
Like the morning dawn from yonder east
Which is showing that the sun is at hand.

The beautiful radiance of his countenance
Shall shine on all the saints;
They shall shine like the sun, every one,
  Exactly like himself.

The heirs of peace shall not see
Any wrath or anger in his countenance:
They shall all ascend as cheerful hosts,
  To feast gladly before him.

When shall I see the happy hour,
The morn of day of the great eternity,
To awake and rise from the grave alive,
  And be fully satisfied
      with the image of God.
